Smells of Not-Here

Well, The Alpha and The Typist were gone for a while, but we didn't really notice because they sent Aunt Cathy to stay with us. We did notice when they came back, especially because they had a lot of dirty laundry for us to sniff.

I'm not sure, but I think I smelled this:

And possibly a hint of this:

And most definitely THIS, all over the Typist's stuff:

She keeps calling that last smell Walter. And she insists that Walter is a good Walter, even if he was gassy.

I wonder why The Boy and I didn't get to go smell all those smells up close?

What fun! I bet you all had an olfactory feast when your people came home. Daisy, Wiggs and Venus are envious, and they would say so, but they aren't literary like you and would rather howl than blog. They would like report that Bussy is doing well...lots of antibiotics.

What kind of dog is that that your guardian is riding on? In fact, all those are very odd looking dogs. I don't want to be judgmental about it. I'm just saying...

I don't really know, Rowan, but I've met a couple of them before, and they eat WHOLE apples! And grass, too. I started eating grass because The Alpha and The Typist were paying lots of attention to those big dogs eating grass, and I was feeling grumpy (because I'd had my butt shaved and a big gash cut in it, but that's a story for another time). So when I started eating grass they paid attention to me and tried to get me to stop. But actually, I developed a taste for the stuff, and I eat it just for fun now.
