Adventure in the Wee Hours

Actually, I think it all started last night, when The Alpha and The Typist decided to have their supper in our backyard. They were watching some silly thing through the window, and they had a fire going in the grill for roasting food they did not let us have. But, they were also dropping perfectly good peanut shells on the ground, so The Boy and I snacked on those.

Which I think is where it all started.

In the wee hours of the morning when everybody was asleep, I started to feel kinda funny. So I decided to get rid of those peanut shells.

When The Alpha heard me acting on my decision, the adventure started! He woke up really fast and decided we were all running to the back door! Even though I wanted to finish my project right there on the bedroom carpet, I went with him. I even put most of my project outside, so he and The Typist only had to clean up a little of it.

Then we all went back to bed. But I don't think everybody got back to sleep. Funny, that seems to only be a problem for thumb-havers. I can take a nap anywhere, any time!

Off to do that now...

When I had a cat, I would come out of a deep coma like sleep when I heard the first sounds of *yak*

Hope you had a good nap!

But how is your tummy?

I CANNOT remember how many emergency runs to the back door I have made.

The "baby" is hardly ever sick, but Lily has a very sensitive tummy. She hardly ever gets any treats.

Oh, Molly, my tummy is fine now. Thank you for asking.

Hi--

I dropped by from Poppy's blog. I don't understand why they Eat Food They Do Not Let Us Have, in Front of Us!

I also do not understand why they want us to Heave on the Floor instead of the Bed.

Is your stomach batter?

Hi all -- Yes, my tummy is better. It was definitely just the peanut shells!

Sorry I haven't blogged over the weekend, but The Typist has been all busy with her own birfday or something.

I don't get the humans and where we yop thing. I heard Giver of Greenies say "a place for everything and everything must be in place." But everything is mine and it's all over the place.

I'm glad you feel better.

P.S. But why did you eat peanut shells?? I don't get that.

scout says: I'll be I know the answer to "why did you eat the penaut shells?"

Because they were there.

Scout is exactly right.

(And because they were nice and salty, too.)

Thumbhavers are very overly concerned about what we do. Packlady took me on walkies a few nights ago, and was urging me to hurry up. I said that she shouldn't worry -- if I needed to walk myself during the night, I'd just go into another room of our den and do it. And I did it, and Packlady was mad in the morning. I don't understand.
